LUMA Southern Light Project: Lite Moves

  • Queenstown New Zealand (map)

Melding light, projection, and the human form together in an exciting new collaboration between Dance Plant Collective and Nocturnal, set to a soundtrack by Ed Zuccollo. LITE Moves explores what it now means to be human; a being that lives on the border between the natural and digital worlds. About the artist:

Nocturnal are specialists in multimedia installations and performance visuals, pushing pixels to light festivals across Aotearoa and abroad. Melding the digital and physical worlds in mesmerising experiences, Nocturnal strives to captivate and educate their audience.

Dance Plant Collective
Creators of politically challenging and transformative performance work grounded in an ecological framework. Dance Plant Collective embraces both absurdity and authenticity, trusting the spontaneous cross-fertilisation of viewpoints to produce startling new material staged in equally surprising spaces.

Ed Zuccollo
Jazz pianist and synthesist-turned-producer Ed Zuccollo creates an expansive range of flavours; from lush, immersive soundscapes, to in-your-face synths and beats. His range and knowledge of vintage and classic keyboard instruments, synthesisers and effects make him a versatile and unique player in the performance and session recording industry.
